Historical Marker Dedication

  • Cambridge Historical Society & Museum 12 Broad Street Cambridge, NY 12816 USA (map)

Join us on Saturday, November 7 at 9:30 AM as we honor the life and legacy of Minerva T. Buck McKie with the dedication of a new historic marker in Cambridge.

The marker commemorates Minerva and two important milestones in our community’s history: her founding of the Ondawa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1894 and the later establishment of the Cambridge Historical Society in 1929.

The installation and dedication will be led by Carman Bogle of the Ondawa Chapter of the DAR and is made possible through the generous support of a William G. Pomeroy Foundation grant.

Following the ceremony, guests are warmly invited to join us for refreshments at The Depot.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate a remarkable Cambridge woman whose commitment to preserving history helped lay the foundation for the work we continue today.
